*JOB TITLE:                           Business Analyst with Peoplesoft *

* Location:                             WA-Washington/Seattle*

* Duration:                              6 Months*

 *Experience with Peoplesoft is Mandatory*

*key responsibilities*
- liaison between functional users of peoplesoft and other financial
related systems
- technical support, responding to routine questions, handling inquires and
problem resolution
- provide support to ensure the integrity of the various financial systems:
peoplesoft payroll, adp, oasys
- develop simple test cases and scripts
- test modifications/fixes to various systems, documenting results
- basic report maintenance, development and processing
- run peoplesoft and or brio queries
- manage interfaces between systems; work closely with hcm support group
- support payroll processing and assist with issue resolution
- assist in training end users on system modifications and implementations
- other duties as assigned
- embody the alaska spirit and conduct oneself with integrity,
resourcefulness, caring and professionalism

*key responsibilities specific to analyst ii*
- implement and maintain configuration change in the financial systems
- test complex modifications/fixes to various systems, documenting results
- develops complete and testable written requirements
- develops comprehensive test cases and scripts
- complex query development and analysis utilizing ps and/or brio query
tools
- generate financial and time and attendance scorecards and complex metrics
- project management of payroll or finance projects including process
improvements or system upgrades
- responsible for all training and creating training media for system
modifications and implementations

*key responsibilities specific to senior analyst*
- serve as mentor to other analysts on team
- participate as project manager in upgrades to ps, fas/fastr/trax/other
systems
- lead process and act as project manager for continuous improvement in
systems by investigating, identifying and implementing system features not
currently in use
- gather, review and prepare monthly multiple systems dashboard
highlighting issues and make recommendations to correct any deficiencies

*qualifications*
- bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance or related field
preferred
- 1 year of experience with financial systems required, 2 - 4 years
preferred
- peoplesoft payroll application system support and analyst experience
preferred
- competent with business analysis principles, processes, and procedures
preferred
- analytical experience preferred
- strong presentation and communication skills required
- familiar with accounting rules and processes required
- project management experience preferred
- proficient in basic ms office skills, access, powerpoint, peoplesoft
query and reports, and brio preferred
- ability to work with minimal supervision required
- high school diploma or equivalent required
- minimum age of 18
- must be authorized to work in the u. s.
