Early response is really appreciated....! *Title:* Data Analyst-QlikView *Location:* St Louis MO *Skill set/Keywords:* Data warehouses, ETL, QlikView *Total Experience:* Senior Level - 5-10yrs *Job Details:* - The successful candidate will work with the IT team in the analysis, design and development of enterprise-class solutions. - The candidate will be responsible to define, develop and deploy automated key performance indicators (KPI) to enable metrics driven decision support solutions across for the global supply chain. - The candidate must understand & support the data strategy on an enterprise level, design solutions within data governance guidelines, and possess the excellent communication skills necessary to successfully interact with both business partners and IT delivery teams. - The candidate will develop and maintain data and analytics requirements as part of a cohesive data function aligned with the business unit's KPI and reporting strategy. - Initiatives will also include contributing to improving, implementing and cultivating a more formal data practice across the organization. Responsibilities * Create business requirements (Technical & Functional) to document Supply Chain KPI / Reporting needs o Identify relevant data to be consumed o Define data visualization techniques o Define data extraction & transformation rules o Define algorithms and mathematical calculations / models o Create metric profiles; including: weights, targets, and thresholds * Perform detailed analysis and identify data and business rule trends; identify business performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to support business objectives & strategies * Present data mining, model results and BI analysis results - Reports, Dashboards, etc. * Prepare impact analysis, alternative design options and cost estimates for BI implementations * Perform validation and testing of algorithms and mathematical calculations / models to ensure superior quality * Identify data anomalies and communicate with data stewards on the impact and proposed solutions * Pragmatically capture & maintain a BI data source catalog with qualify / relevance metadata * Pragmatically lead the business toward strategic, enterprise focused data solutions ensuring an appropriate balance of speed, maintainability, and governance * Develop impact analysis for database changes including BI / BO / QV reporting solutions * Ensure that solutions adhere to data architecture standards and strategies, and follow best practices * Communicate data requirements to the development team and other stakeholders. * Actively contribute to the department's IT strategy and execution by applying critical thinking and challenging the status quo * Responsible for keeping up to date on current research, trends and best practices Skill Set: Required * Minimum of a BS degree or equivalent and 5+ years' of experience working with enterprise data warehouses, ETL, reporting & analytics tools, data testing, and data modeling concepts * 2+ years of experience with the QlikView (QV) platform including strong understanding of QV architecture, designing and developing on IT projects * Strong conceptual thinker with high-level modeling skills * The ability to work effectively in ambiguous situations, strong critical thinking skills and the ability to be decisive while working cooperatively with others * Ability to creatively solve problems and provide timely and sound recommendations * Ability to effectively influence and drive change in a matrixed and dynamic environment * Results oriented with the ability to effectively prioritize * Proven communication and facilitation skills * Strong organizational skills with attention to detail evidenced through sound analytical skills * Experience creating technical documentation - roadmaps, presentations, etc... Desired: * QlikView Developer Certification * Experience with QlikView Publisher and QlikView Management Console * Strong foundational understanding of data relationships in SAP modules such as MM, SD, FL, Costing, APO DP, SNP and CIF * Interacts with senior external personnel and internal leadership on significant business or technical matters often requiring coordination between organizations * Experience with geospatial and temporal data concepts * Experience developing software in accordance with government regulations such as those created by the EPA and FDA.
