This individual is responsible for analyzing needs and overseeing improvement and development of the IT systems, as well as keeping track of updates and trends within the information technology market. The incumbent also establishes communication within the organization necessary to carry out the task of implementing new architecture. Position reports to the Corporate Chief Technology Officer. *PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES* · Provides architectural vision to appropriately align IT to strategic business needs and goals. · Maintains an ongoing partnership with the business to apply in-depth knowledge of the business operations, strategies, priorities and information requirements to establish the technical direction and an enterprise view. · Defines enterprise level strategies and technical direction. · Defines the system, technical, and application architectures, and in some instances the business systems/process architecture for major areas of development. · Ensures appropriate technical standards and procedures are defined. Manages the development of centers of excellence around key technologies. · Ensures best practices are adhered to in the adoption of new technologies. · Researches, evaluates and selects from existing and emerging technologies that best fit business and IT strategic needs. · Ensures the delivery process and technology strategies are coherent and optimized. · Manages multi-project management accountabilities in developing solutions in a collaborative environment. · Oversees the design and delivery of proofs-of-concept for new or improved enterprise-wide technologies that are used across multiple areas of the business. · Architects solutions across multiple hardware/software computing environments and system components. · Plans and implements process re-engineering or process improvement. *QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE:: Need strong HealtCare background* · Bachelor's degree in computer science or information systems. Advanced degree preferred. · 10 or more years of experience in the information technology field. · Prior experience working as an Enterprise Architect.
