*Job Title* *SCM Build Consultant* *Project Location* *King Of Prussia PA* *Duration* *6 months /Contract* * Skills Required and Job Description:* *Interview Mode: Telephonic followed by F2F/SkypeSoftware Configuration Management Consultant* Looking for an energetic and detail orientated individual that can aide our engineering team as we migrate our entire code base from ClearCase to GIT. During this migration period we will also be updating our continuous build system to utilize Jenkins. The migration will take place while large scale development efforts continue to move forward. Individuals who have experience in executing a large scale CM migration efforts are ideal candidates for this role. *Requirements:* - BS/MS in CS or relevant technical degree - A minimum of 2 years of applicable experience. - Good understanding of software configuration management goals, practices, and tools. - Proficient in use and administration of version control tools (e.g. Git, Gerrit, ClearCase). - Proficient in use and administration of continuous integration/automated build tools (e.g. Bamboo, Jenkins). - Familiar with the creation of software branches for parallel development and the use of labels to identify formal builds. - Extreme attention to detail. * Skills:* - Administrator level expertise with Git, Gerrit and Jenkins. - Experience automating manual processes using scripting languages is a must (e.g. PERL). - Organized and self-disciplined development shills. - Familiarity with wiki technologies, especially interfacing them to more formal CM systems - Familiarity with Agile/SCRUM methodology - Ability to work with limited supervision and direction. *Primary Duties:* - Migrate our CM and Continuous Build environment processes as directed by management. - Work with the program developers to troubleshoot and resolve build issues in a timely manner.
