*Job Title* UI/JavaScript Developer *Project Location* St. Petersburg, FL *Duration* 6 months /Contract *Skills Required and Job Description:* *Interview Mode: Telephonic followed by Skype* * Need EAD-GC/GC/USC only * * The right candidate will possess the following experience:* - Good understanding of html, CSS, JavaScript/jQuery developer - Understanding of the principles of HATEOAS and REST and experience writing and consuming RESTful APIs through JavaScript - Experience using AngularJS, Ember, Backbone, KnockoutJS, or similar JavaScript frameworks - Deep knowledge of up-and-coming HTML5 utilities and how to take advantage of them for future web applications - Extensive experience with CSS, less, sass, and the ability to build a clean CSS framework for the application - Basic understanding of UX concepts and reactive design - Fundamental understanding of C# and MVC *Duties & Responsibilities* - Ability to provide leadership in front end development, UX, and participate in development and rollout of new functionality - Brainstorm with the different teams responsible for each application to create a more efficient experience for the end user - Ensure that projects are scheduled, planned to achieve the right balance of roadmap/strategic developments and necessary ongoing enhancements to maintain the integrity of the application/infrastructure - Suggest tools, technologies, and best practices to improve our stability, performance and site quality - Exchange knowledge and information with other facilities to ensure best practices are shared throughout the organization. - Maintain discretion and confidentiality in all areas pertaining to data and proprietary information, whether internal to the customer specific. - Ability to work effectively under pressure with constantly changing priorities and deadlines. - Understand and embrace the business and strategic direction. - Ensure all sensitive and confidential information is handled appropriately. - Maintain availability of system including assisting installation at plant sites, providing support to current users, monitoring the system and troubleshooting issues. - Train and support for all plants including coordination with other plants and installation teams. *Requirements* - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems preferred. - At least 5+ years of experience, or equivalent education and experience.
