All applications are being built and integrated from the ground up. This position requires flexibility and ability to work with new development environments in a fast-paced team. The Sr. Software Developer will be required to perform multiple roles from front-end design, front-end development, interaction with the system architect, development planning, conveying of concepts to management, interaction with back-end development team and integration as well as mobile UI development and integration. A bonus will be for the developer to be familiar with back-end development work. *Education:* Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a computer science or information management field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. *Experience:* - 7+ yrs. hands-on experience with front and back-end development in a web environment developing responsive web applications. - Implement data driven interfaces using *HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and JQuery. * Familiar with major libraries, frameworks and tools such as *JQuery, Backbone, Marionette, Twitter Bootstrap, LESS, CSS and Underscore*. Familiarity with JSON. - Comfortable working in Unix/Linux environment. - Familiar with developer and project management tools such as Eclipse, Sublime, Jenkins, GitHub and Jira - Be proficient in testing applications in different browser and operating system environments including Macs & PC, Safari, Chrome, IE iOS and Android - Prior experience with mobile native application development using languages like Java and Objective C - Prior experience designing, developing and launching mobile web-services driven apps in the Apple App Store and Android Market required - Experience using Java and SpringMVC to understand REST API’s. Prior development experience would be a bonus - Experience with MySQL and NoSQL DB’s (e.g. MongoDB) - Working knowledge of multiple web services and open source solutions is desirable. Examples include Solr, Alfresco, backbone.js, Activiti, Gazzang, MuleESB. - Experience in developing complex web applications and API structures *Minimum Requirements and Critical Traits:* - Mobile application integration experience - High level computer literacy - High level of analytical, creative and problem solving skills - Self-starter that can work with ambiguity and can thrive with minimal supervision.
