Job Description
v Good knowledge on multi pathing administration of UNIX, Linux (RHEL),
Windows, HP OS.
v Good working knowledge on storage virtualization.
v Hands on experience on FC SAN Switches, Manage fibre switches/directors
from Cisco, Brocade and Mcdata (Zoning / VSANs / FCIP / ISL setup )
v Expert skills in Storage Performance fine tuning, Availability,
Reporting and Capacity Management.
v Administration & implementation knowledge on EMC Storage and SRDF
Replication/Mirror View.
v Possess in-depth knowledge and experience using EMCVMAX, VNX,
Clarion,Celera, Isilon ,Replication technologies and Migration services of
SAN infrastructure.
v Expert skill on Migration tools like Open Replicator/ PPME or any other
tools.
v Able to handle and troubleshoot hardware issues on Storage Environment
and co-ordinate with multiple team as a single point of contact.
v Posses good working knowledge of storage analysis, testing, POC, system
software, ability to provide root cause analysis to the customer
v Administration & Troubleshooting skills on Ionix ControlCenter,
Performance manager, Storage Scope.
v *EMC Skill specialization , working knowledge of Hitachi is must. *
v Working Experience on EMC Symmetrix / DMX / VMAX/VNX Storage
Provisioning , Mirror View/SRDF/Time Finder, EMC Power Path, EMC Solution
Enabler, Brocade/CISCO SAN Switches, EMC Control Center and EMC Unified
storage tools.
v Basic knowledge about the Vendor Best practices for storage provisioning.
v Experience in - IBM SVC storage virtualization appliance
v Experience In transitioning projects
v Able to handle unforeseen situations
v 10 Years of relevant IT experience along with 8 yrs in EMC Storage
Administration / Support is must for this position.
v Must have “EMC Storage certified Professional” certificate.
v Must have ITIL foundation certified certification.
v High level of acceptance
v Other Skills / Experience
v Worked on Production systems
v Datacenter understanding
v Experience in training new team members
v Working Knowledge on Remedy or any other ticketing client
v Experience in training new team members
v Should be familiar with ITIL processes
v Experience with Storage Migration, Installation, Upgrades and Patching
v Other Storage skill set will be an Added advantage.
v Years of Experience
