*Requirement:-* Job Description: Mandatory skills (please enter all mandatory skills customer will look for) The Configuration Manager performs the day-to-day overall management of the process. *Detailed responsibilities include:* *- Design and Develop CMDB* *- Recurring CMDB audit for all CIs and responsibility to maintain it at 98% accuracy* *- Implement best practices for CMDB audit automation* *- Develop policies and procedures to maintain CMDB* -Ensuring all change tasks and operational requests assigned to the configuration team are processed as specified -Maintaining and updating CMDB -Should have thorough knowledge in CMDB Audits -Approving modifications related to interfaces between the CMDB and specified data users -Creating the CMDB data model at a technical level, including naming conventions, semantic keys, relationships, life cycles, etc. -Ensuring that regular reports, for example weekly modification report. -Managing Compliance, Issue, Risk and Tracking System issues related to configuration -Defining reports based on functional specifications -Maintaining the relationship between the configuration team -Ensuring that each financially relevant modification makes proper reference to formal documentation -Owns the Configuration Management System -Within an operational context, this includes internal configuration management database (CMDB) -Plans, publicizes and oversees implementation of an updated Configuration Management System (CMS). -Ensures that the CMS is populated with CIs according to policy -Ensures maintenance of the CMS -Ensures that CIs are uniquely identified with naming conventions. Ensures that staff comply with identification standards for object types, environments, processes, life-cycles, documentation, versions, formats, baselines, releases and templates. -Uses or provides the CMDB to facilitate impact assessment for change requests and to ensure that implemented Changes are as authorized. Creates Change records, configuration baselines, and package Release records in order to specify the effect on CIs of an authorized Change. Ensures any changes to Change authorization records are themselves subject to Change Management procedures. Ensures that the CMDB is updated when a Change is implemented. -Provides the CMDB to help identify other CIs affected by a fault that is affecting a CI. -Carries out the Process Manager responsibilities for the Configuration Management process Job Description: Good-to-have skills 1. Strong leadership, and analytical skills 2. *Demonstrates minimum 5+ years as a Config Manager* 3. ITIL Foundation is required as minimum 4. Intermediate level skills in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, Visio) 5. Intermediate knowledge using MS Project 6. Demonstrates strong analytical and problem solving abilities. 7. Demonstrates expert interpersonal and communications skills, and experience preparing and delivering presentations to senior and executive management 8.
