Please include your employer details as well. *Job Title* Informatica Developer *Project Location* MI-Michigan/Kalamazoo *Duration* 1 Year /contract MOI: Telephonic + skype *Role Description* Responsible for the design, modeling, development and testing of a machine, structure or system. Develops functional requirements. Understands and applies standard engineering principles. Creates simulations and prototypes to evaluate preliminary designs and test how a machine, structure or system operates. Designs and tests components, and integrates components to produce final product. Monitors quality of products and controls the efficiency of processes. Evaluates a design's overall effectiveness, cost, reliability, and safety. Investigates root causes of failures to maintain quality and recommend improvements. The Informatica developer develops, tests, and documents BI enterprise solutions which meet business needs. He or she understands user requirements and functional specifications and develops solutions which meet these needs and specifications. The developer is skilled in data reconciliation and ensure ETL development or reports are guaranteeing a high data quality. *Primary Requirements and Responsibilities: * 5 years+ Experience with the ETL from Informatica (Powercenter). 5 years+ Data warehousing and Business Intelligence techniques. Knowledge of SQL for Oracle. Knowledge of Unix and XML. Data management techniques using ETL tools. Strong analytical skills Business level of English, in written and verbal. Dynamic, Responsibility, accountability and culture of achievement. Demonstrated ability to take a defined problem and develop an algorithmic solution Ability to proactively identify edge cases Experience with a BI Tool, like Cognos 8, OBIEE. ***Certification or Training that is required/desired in a candidate: Informatica certification is a plus Responsible for all tasks involved in extracting, transforming and loading data from Oracle E-Business applications into the Oracle Pre-Built analytics Data warehouse. Ability to understand and create complex mappings using Informatica PowerCenter and experience using Informatica Power Exchange and Informatica Cloud. Must have experience installing and configuring Informatica Power Center Designing detailed ETL specifications based on business requirements. Documentation of all development processes and unit testing. Execute test plans and document results and discrepancies. Perform data analysis to resolve issues related to source data. Ability to collect, interpret, and/or analyze complex data and information.
