*Hadoop Architect* *Location: Sunnyvale, CA* *Duration: 6 Months+* *Job Description: * - *Job entails working with Systems Engineering team and Application team to expand existing Big Data solution running on Linux servers in an HPC environment. * - Looking for someone who has experience working with *Hadoop*, integrating the application using the big data for managing that *Hadoop* infrastructure. - Current team consists of 2 team grid engineers, a systems engineering team of 8 that will be assisting. - 8 years of experience with *Hadoop*. - The company that created the software was under the IBM framework, this was under Symphony and LSF. *Must have Skills: * - Experience with Big Data solutions including *Hadoop*, HBase, PIG, HIVE - Working knowledge on High performance computing Grid environment - Strong Unix Systems administration skills Good C/C++/Java/Shell programming skills Strong debugging skills in a multi-node parallel environment Good understanding of security - Good understanding on technologies like SAN, NAS, NFS, Networking Ability to aide in architecting good designs with application development teams.
