·         *Provide leading edge content recommendations that fit clients’
business objectives and audience needs.*

·         *Manage strategic/complex projects with minimum supervision.*

·         *Use a combination of data analysis, user research, benchmarking,
and content audits to make content decisions and orchestrate content
development*

·         *Analyze clients’ current-state online channels and discern
implications for content creation, distribution, and maintenance.*

·         *Generate insightful observations, but able to synthesize these
findings into key takeaways and recommendations for attention-deficient
audiences.*

·         *Determine how best to achieve clients’ goals through content
selection, acquisition, and maintenance-- considering marketing efforts in
all media.*

·         *Conduct competitive audits of site content, taking into
consideration business needs and audiences goals.*

·         *Actively lead client and internal meetings and presentations
around content, and supervise the work of other Content
Strategists/copywriters.*

·         *Be able to consult with account and project management teams
about scoping out needed deliverables and timings to accomplish the
deliverables.*

·         *Set guidelines for the editorial tone, style, and voice of all
content;*

·         *Develop and/or oversee content inventories, gap analyses and
content mapping documentation;*

·         *Create taxonomies and metadata frameworks for grouping and
tagging content;*

·         *Ensure content conforms to Search Engine Optimization best
practices;*



*Desired Skills and Experience*

•             *Experience working in a digital agency.*

•             *Strong critical thinking and strategic problem-solving
skills*

•             *Demonstrated ability to lead content strategy across the
entire web development process*

•             *Degree in related field, such as English, journalism,
technical writing*

•             *Advanced proficiency in the MS Office Suite, and working
knowledge of UX design tools*

•             *Experience with content management systems, digital asset
management, databases and SEO best practices;*

•             *Excellent oral, written communication and presentation
skills (you must be able to tell a story and command an audience,
regardless of the audience or the brand);*

•             *Ability to approach and communicate with a wide range of
personalities and know exactly what questions will deliver the desired
content;*

•             *Experience working with a CMS platform*

        •             *Intermediate HTML and/or XML skills*
