Essential Job Functions: • Design, develop, test and implement software applications. • Integrate with and contribute to assigned self-managed product team. • Possess and understand Agile development methodologies and the role of testing. Note – Other job duties as assigned. Requirements, Skills, and Abilities: (PLEASE RANK SKILLS WITH SUBMITTAL) • Strong Java Skills (1 – 3 plus years) • Play framework exposure • Real API development experience • UNIX background • SQL experience (MYSQL, SQL Server) • Agile experience (SCRUM/XP/Lean) • Solid understanding of web development and related technologies - HTML, Javascript, CSS, JSON and AJAX • Unit testing skills (JUnit, etc) • Nice-To-Haves: Cloud experience, NOSQL/Graph Database experience, Git, Spring Framework and/or Grails experience. Education, Certification(s), and Work Experience – past experience drives future success • Bachelor’s degree in technology discipline – preferred. • Three (3) to Five (5) years of real development experience on web/mobile projects – preferred.
