Supports internal staff by ensuring that the required databases are installed, maintained and available for use. Provides DBA support to IT projects. Develops, implements and reviews database design and stored procedures. Implements database upgrades backups and restores. Verifies data integrity and preforms research and analysis of other DBA's. Responsible for suitable and reliable back-up and recovery methodology. Recommends and consults with users on access to various databases. Responsible for quality control.
