Location : Dallas, TX, Duration : 6 months+ Workday Functional Payroll Support Project Description: Our client is currently on the tail end of a conversion of PeopleSoft HCM 9.1 to Workday for Core HR, Benefits, Payroll, Talent, Compensation, and Absence Management. The client has about 14,000 employees and is made up of about 60-65 different companies and pay their employees bi-weekly. The go-live for their Workday environment is set for October 22nd and our client needs 2-3 functional Workday consultants to help push to that date and help with support and troubleshooting afterwards. Day to Day Responsibilities: This consultant will be asked to hit the ground running to assist with the push to go-live of the Workday system. All of the data has been pulled from PeopleSoft from the developers and the payroll information is completely in Workday now, the environment is currently being built. This consultant will be asked to help with the Workday payroll system and will be asked to help with support. It is essential this consultant understands configuration of payroll in Workday and know the payroll process from end to end. This means this consultant should understand the concepts of cutting checks and getting payroll out the door. This consultant will be sitting with the payroll team and will support them because they are not familiar with the new system. This means this consultant should be open to answering any questions the payroll team has and be able to help them through payrolls. This consultant will need to have the ability to research system issues and do troubleshooting within Workday. This consultant should be familiar with integrations and be able to navigate through the system to find bugs and fixes. Most of this consultants work will be payroll focused so this consultant should also be familiar with garnishments and taxes.
