I need a .Net/SQL Developer in Plano, Texas. 12 month contract with my
client, *North Texas Tollway*. *MUST BE LOCAL AND INTERVIEW FACE TO FACE!*
*MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS*
· Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
· At least 5 years of .NET Development experience
*JOB PURPOSE*
The purpose of this position is to provide Web Applications and software
enhancements through development and support:
- A thorough understanding of the software development life cycle
related to the Define, Design, Build, Test and Deploy phases of a project
(Iterative-waterfall type of project management): Specific skills include
but not limited to:
- Refining given requirements into a design concept.
- The ability to work from use cases in order to build a solid
solution.
- The ability to build design documents, effectively communicate (in
writing) what needs to be done and gain approval.
- Proven experience in task management in developing, installing,
upgrading, and maintaining associated web applications and batch
processes.
- Release management, testing scripts, quality assurance and writing
project documentation.
- Extensive knowledge is required in the following skills:
- .Net/C#
- ASP.Net
- XML
- SQL Server 2008
- UML Modeling
- Visio
- Other duties include:
- Release management, testing scripts, quality assurance and writing
project documentation.
- Preferred – ‘Nice to Have’ Skills
- SQL Server Report Service
- SharePoint Technologies
