*QA Test Lead:*



*Responsibilities:*

   - This QA Test Lead will be working in the Software in Test (S.E.T) on
   the Scrum Team
   - 25% of the role is performing manual testing
   - The QA Test Lead will be responsible for driving test coverage
   - They will work with S.E.T Teams to decide which applications should be
   tested through automation methods
   - Responsible for delegating automation testing coverage
   - The QA Test Lead will be working with Developer to complete data
   conditioning



*Job Description:*

   - Ownership of test planning
      - Responsible for overall test coverage
      - Lead collaborative testing planning sessions with the team to
      define test plan for each story
      - Include all testing types in test plan (functional, integration,
      UAT, perf, -ilities, …)
      - Identify all testing by method (unit, service, scripted manual,
      exploratory, …)
      - Capture test plan with defined coverage requirements in central
      repository
      - Establish traceability between test plan and test evidence
      - Review story requirements, solution designs, and existing tests
      - Perform defined manual testing for stories
         - Create and execute scripted testing
         - Perform exploratory testing
         - Create and execute Integration and end to end test cases
         - Ensure all test requirements have been satisfied & evidenced for
         story to be “done”
            - SWE and SET must demonstrate test automation coverage
            - Log defects in Quality Center detected during testing; manage
            to resolution
            - Identify and communicate any risks detected during sprint
               - Ongoing communication of risks to the Project Team during
               testing
               - Presentation of open risks to Product Owner prior to story
               acceptance (@ demo)
               - Creation of risk mitigation plan for open risks
               - Account conditioning for team testing
                  - Define required accounts for conditioning
                  - Collaborate with SET on automation of account
                  conditioning
                  - Manually condition accounts as required
                  - Manage PVT testing to completion
                     - Migrate required PVT to PVT regression suite
                     - Work with triage team to recreate production issues
                     and manage vetted defects
