Further, the developer will be responsible for maintaining existing code base of ASP applications that contain heavy use of client-side JavaScript to provide application functions as well as user interface look and feel aspects. Candidate must be proficient with advanced JavaScripting and ASP development, with emphasis on experience related to maintaining legacy ASP / JavaScript code. The successful candidate shall be expertly proficient with ASP and JavaScript, as well as have advanced proficiency developing .NET applications (ASP.NET <http://asp.net/>, C#,VB.NET <http://vb.net/>, ADO.NET <http://ado.net/>, SOAP, WebServices, etc.). A candidate’s proficiency with .NET shall be determined not only by the use of .NET tools and syntax in past projects, but by the candidate’s ability to demonstrate utilization of .NET with an Object Oriented Development approach. Experience developing case management software solutions is a plus. Emphasis shall be placed on those candidates with superior user-interface design and layout skills using ASP and ASP.NET <http://asp.net/>, as well as with compiled objects development using C# and/or VB.NET <http://vb.net/>.
