*Minimum Education:*  Bachelor's Degree




*Position Summary*
Under general direction, serves as a Senior Systems Analyst - PeopleSoft,
strategist and subject matter expert to ensure optimal use of delivered
PeopleSoft Financial modules.  The key responsibility of this role is to be
a customer relationship manager for Financial business partners to provide
advanced SME support to business system analysts and their management,
develops strategy, and defines business requirements for complex solutions
with an emphasis on leveraging delivered functionality with little to no
customization.  Individuals in this role will also act as liaison between
financial business partners, PeopleSoft developers and other Information
Technology staff, clarifying requirements and performing technical quality
assurance testing before customer delivery.

As a trusted advisor to the Accounting, Finance, Grant Management and
Materials Management business partners, this position is responsible for
formulating an enterprise context impact understanding of business
requirements in order to accurately implement effective solutions with
measurable process improvement results.



*Position Accountabilities:*
The following are essential job accountabilities:
1.Maintains strategic perspective on the operational impact of functional
business requirements against existing and planned PeopleSoft Financial
deployments and upgrades.
2.Performs detailed analysis of financial system requirements to understand
business needs.
3.Assists Business Systems Analysts with the creation of functional
specifications for PeopleSoft Financial technical development and
enhancement.
4.Responsible for delivery of approved PeopleSoft Financial System
requirements definition to Information Technology Development Team(s),
including dependant systems impact analysis and requirements development
coordination with affected user and development teams (including Partner
Interfaces).
5.Collaborates with Business Systems Analysts and Technical Development
teammates to evaluate solution alternatives and influence recommended
solution using delivered PeopleSoft Financial functionality balancing the
optimal use of configuration and development.
6.Assists in establishing PeopleSoft Financial system testing requirements
and conducts system and integration tests to ensure application
requirements are successfully met.
7.Provides first level production support to Business Systems Analysts and
assists with User Acceptance Tests.
8.May function as technical project leader during PeopleSoft Financial
System implementations, including hardware/software installation and user
training. Includes assisting with project plan development as appropriate.
9.Provides production issues resolution analysis and support on the
PeopleSoft Application Support  Team.
10.Coordinates with Business Systems Analysts to provide ad hoc reporting
support in response to management and production support requests.
