Overview:
Looking for a short term contractor to assist with the development of a
product based on Analog Devices BlackFin multi-core device. Candidate
should have extensive experience with embedded systems development using
this device and associated development tools. The ideal candidate should be
proficient with embedded development at the hardware level (registers,
drivers) as well as algorithm development and strong troubleshooting
skills. Experience with distributed systems and multi-core development is a
plus.
Primary Skills:
- Extensive embedded systems software development
experience
- Extensive experience with Analog Devices BlackFin
Architecture
- Extensive experience with multi-core devices and
inter-processor communication
- Extensive experience with Analog Devices Visual DSP
IDE
- Extensive experience with signal processing
libraries and developing algorithms
- Experience with code optimization
- Experience at the hardware level coding (registers,
drivers)
- Experience Coding in C/C++
- Experience with distributed systems
- Ability to work independently or within a team
- Working knowledge of object-oriented programming
methods
- Proficient in current version control tools and
processes
- Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills
Secondary Skills:
- Experience developing with FPGA (specifically Altera
Cyclone) in Verilog and System Verilog
- Familiarity with lab equipment (o-scope, DMM, logic
analyzer, etc.)
- Experience developing instrumentation or measurement
devices for industrial environments
