*Skills Required and Job Description:*

Responsibilities will include:

•             Research, replicate, and resolve issues

•             Configure SNP, DRP, and CIF to support business requirements

•             Set up and configure SNP (including Heuristics, Optimizer,
Deployment & TLB)

•             Execute and monitor recurring monthly process activities,
communicating progress and issues encountered to appropriate resources

•             Maintain documentation as processes and functionality changes

•             Develop Functional Design Specifications and other detailed
enhancement documentation to support custom program development

•             Work with Demand Planning resources and designs to provide a
seamless solution with SNP

•             Cross-functional work with BI, QM, PP-PI, SD, MM, ABAP,
Basis, Operations, and other teams as necessary to resolve technical and
process issues

•             Work with users, IT team members, and management to define
and document business requirements, determine the appropriate SAP
configuration and/or development required, and/or to document why the
requirement cannot be satisfied by an SAP-based solution



Required Skills:

•             Strong SAP APO experience consisting of SNP, and CIF (minimum
5 years APO experience with emphasis on SNP)

•             Experience executing and monitoring APO and ECC Jobs

•             Experience maintaining and modifying APO CIF

•             Experience maintaining and modifying SNP with special
emphasis on DRP-Heuristics and Optimizer and Deployment Planning

•             Experience with APO/DP and/or APO-GATP is a plus

•             Working knowledge of DP/BI info cubes

•             Ability to work in a team environment

•             Ability to work closely with Monsanto's vegetable seed
planners

•             Excellent verbal and written communication skills



The learning curve associated with the seed planning business process is
steep, therefore the candidate must be technically strong.  If they are
trying to learn the technical aspects while on the job, they won't be able
to keep up and will wash out quickly.  This role is to provide additional
assistance to the existing team, supporting an existing APO implementation.
