If you find your self suitable for the position, please send me your latest updated resume along with contact details. *Job Title Senior Web Developer* *Project Location Concord, CA* *Duration 12 Months * * Interview Mode: Phone and Face to Face* *Skills Required and Job Description:* · *Candidates MUST have JSF experience, and Excellent communication skills.* *Client is asking candidates to fill out the below screening table when submitted:* *Expertise level (1-10)* *Years of working experience * *Comments (if any)* *Spring* *JSF* *Struts* *Shell scripts* *XML* *HTML 4 & 5* *JavaScript* *JQuery* *Oracle PL/SQL* *T-SQL* *EJB3* *Web Service (REST & SOAP)* *JBOSS Server Admin* *Job Description:* *Responsibilities:* - Designs and Develops software components and applications. - Develops and executes test cases against unit releases. - Develops and executes regression test plans against software code releases to ensure that code corrections have not impaired previously validated areas. - Ensures that software defect states are accurately updated upon completion of verification tasks. - Maintains a high level of system knowledge. - Works with Operations, Customer Service, and possibly the Client to gather relevant data to determine product requirements. - Utilizes System Observations, System Logs, Database records and Test Lab reproduction to demonstrate clear understanding of the Issue. - Validates that new releases are ready for deployment and document the same for the Client. - Clarifies details of software release. - Demonstrates within the Test Lab environment any or all of the documented test results for the product owner and possibly the Client. - Works as part of a Scrum team and within Agile development methodology *Qualifications:* · Four-year degree in Software Engineering or equivalent plus a minimum of four years of experience in web development. · Java Enterprise (JEE) knowledge/skills (eg: EJBs, App Servers (JBoss, Spring, JSF, Struts, etc.) and version control tools (Subversion, Git) and Continuous Integration tools (Hudson/Jenkins). · Experience working with shell scripts, JAVA, Service Oriented Architecture and XML files. · Familiarity with jar/war files repository management tools as well as deployment tools for java applications is desirable. · Scripting skills, HTML 5, JavaScript, JQuery. · Knowledge of SQL and Oracle PL/SQL. · Excellent understanding of software development “best practices” and lifecycle issues (scalability, manageability and deploy ability) and test driven development frameworks (JUnit). Requires an excellent understanding of QA process and software development lifecycles. · Good time-management and self-management skills, proven ability to identify issues that need to be resolved determine and implement solution to complicated system/software problems. Self motivated team player with a positive attitude. Good interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with professional technical and non-technical persons.
