Client is looking to fill this urgently. *Position: Data Quality Developer* *Location: Jeffersonville, IN* *Duration: 6 Months Contract with high possibility of extension * *“US citizens, GCs, EAD, H1 B and those who are authorized to work in the US without sponsorship are encouraged to apply” * The Data Quality Developer is responsible for designing, testing and deploying the business rules, data quality procedures and their outputs, and also monitoring and validating all the data quality fixes - throughout each iteration of the Data Governance initiative. *These activities will provide the following business benefits:* · Increase consistency and confidence in decision making · Provide a more positive customer experience · Ensure successful outreach of our marketing campaigns *Responsibilities: * · The Data Quality Developer must partner with the Data Management Product Owner, Business Stakeholders, Data Stewards and Data Analysts. · In addition to SQL queries and other data analysis methods, the Data Quality Developer will use Talend Enterprise MDM/Data Quality Platform for profiling and comparison of data, which will be used to make decisions regarding how to measure business rules and quality of the data. · The Data Quality Developer must also document at a functional level how the procedures work within the data quality applications. · The primary tasks associated with this role are to profile the source data, define or confirm the definition of the metadata, identify data anomalies, check for duplicate or redundant records, utilize outside resources for data standards best practices and validation (e.g. data verification services, Google, etc.), coordinate with third party services (Melissa DATA, InfoGroup, Data.com), and provide administrative maintenance and support of Talend, ActiveMQ messaging and server environments. · Ideal candidates will work closely with Application Development Teams, Data Stewards, Data Analysts, and Business Analysts, demonstrating the ability to deliver useful information within selected tools by coordinating disparate business information and rules. *Additional notes*: Prefer local candidates or those willing to relocate on their own *Skill Matrix:* *Skill * *Number of years Used* *Rate yourself on a (1 to 10 Scale)* Total Experience in IT Industry Total Experience as a Data Quality Developer Experience with designing, testing and deploying the business rules, data quality procedures and their outputs Experience in monitoring and validating all the data quality fixes - throughout each iteration of the Data Governance initiative.
