Candidates must have experience with VPLEX, IBM XIV, and setting up
replication sites using MetroPoint and a combination of VPLEX and
RecoverPoint.
Candidates will also be experienced at architecting solutions involving
VPLEX clusters.
Qualified candidates must have and will be expected to:
- Be able to scope the full project
- Architect the solution
- Do all pre-work for migrations including:
- Compatibility checking (firmware from host all the way to storage)
- Work with customer around migration grouping (array
based/application clusters/etc.)
- Scripting zoning/LUN masking for migrations
- Working with customer so they are prepared for host side changes
required
- Be an SME to minimize escalations and resolve customer issues quickly
and efficiently.
