*Job DescriptionRole & ResponsibilitiesProject Manager for AIX OS Upgrade (Technical+Functional Role)* This role is responsible for leading a project team on a series of infrastructure migration project. With experience in AIX, LINUX. The candidate will have overall performance responsibility for managing scope, cost, schedule, and contract deliverables. Skills required include: planning, tracking, change control, financial management and issue/risk management. *Required Candidate Profile (Job Requirements/Descriptions) * *Profile:* • Excellent communication skills • Expert & hands-on knowledge on Microsoft Project Plan • Experience in running large Migration programs and multi-vendor teams • Infrastructure experience is a must (Datacenter/ desktop upgrade, server upgrade,etc.) • Expert & hands-on knowledge of various IBM P-series hardware • Expert & hands-on knowledge on trouble shooting AIX 6.x and 7.x OS • In depth knowledge of IBM NIM and alternate disk migrations • Experience in HMC Upgrade • In depth knowledge of CSM/NIM functionality • Very good understanding of cluster technologies like HACMP and VCS. • Very good understanding of Virtual and SAN environments *Certifications: * 1. PMP Certification or equivalent 2.
