Please reply me to my id *[email protected] <[email protected]>** .* Position 1 Business analyst Business Analyst DATA Modeler Richmond, VA Stamford, CT Richmond, VA $45/hr c2c $42 /hr c2c $45 /hr c2c Financial BA with Acturial Financial BA 5+ years Technical/Functional Skills : * Minimum 5-7 years of Life Insurance industry experience. * 5+ years working with business processes (finance and actuarial experience would be a plus) * Ability to interview business users, create use cases, scenarios, and Business Requirements Documents. * Should have expertise in analyzing present-state processes, business processes and create test plans. * Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Visio & MS-Project, basic data mining, understanding data relationships, basic SQL queries * Familiar with Agile Project Methodology * Excellent communications skills - verbal and written & problem solving skills * Experience with month end closing activities Experience Required : 5+ years Roles & Responsibilities : * Create requirements documentation by inputs from business users and SMEs. * Liaise with business and IT teams to document existing functionality * Facilitate all requirements meetings. * Communicate progress, requirements, and other relevant information to project stakeholders and project team. * Apply analytical and problem-solving skills when reviewing data and existing documents * Ability to analyze data from source systems to develop documentation for existing processes Minimum 5-7 years of industry experience with an emphasis on functional test management. * Ability to interview business users, create use cases & scenarios. * Should have expertise in analyzing present-state processes, business processes and create test plans. * Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Visio & MS-Project * Familiar with Agile Project Methodology * Excellent communications skills - verbal and written & problem solving skills * Familiar with Agile Project Methodology Experience Required : 5+ years Roles & Responsibilities : * Conduct a quality review walkthrough of business requirements documentation created by other business analysts. * Liaise with business and IT teams to design (convert business requirements) test scripts that thoroughly test functionality * Work with project team to develop, coordinate, and maintain test plan and test schedule ensuring all test activity is purposeful and efficient. * Ensure all necessary resources are identified, assigned, and trained on the testing process and tools. * Oversee all test planning, processes and activities for all phases of testing to ensure testing is performed as planned and on schedule. * Facilitate all testing meetings. * Communicate test progress, test results, and other relevant information to project stakeholders and project team. * Record test results and test data to certify all tests have been performed and define what has not been tested. * Apply analytical and problem-solving skills when reviewing test results to discover, investigate and report any defects, bugs, errors, or issues. 7+ years Technical/Functional Skills : * Minimum 7-10 years of industry experience in Data Modeling using ER Studio or Erwin. * Experience as a Data modeler in modeling for Operational Data Stores, Data Warehouses and Data Marts. * Strong understanding of DW concepts * Hand on experience in implementing Dimensional and 3NF data models. * Understanding of DW appliances, Hadoop, SQL and PL/SQL concepts, standards and best practices * Database development, physical database design for optimal performance Experience Required : 7+ years Roles & Responsibilities : * Capture new requirements or changed requirements for modeling for new data marts, ODS, data warehouse. * Logical and Physical modeling and design for 3NF/dimensional model for ODS/Data Warehouse, * Develop/Modify data models as per requirements * Strong experience of data modeling in the Insurance industry, preferably life business, is a must. * DDL for database creation on appliances and manage database creation activities from inception to completion including interdependencies with other teams. * Conversant with designing data structures for Hadoop staging and DW and Data marts hosted in DW appliances * Take an active role in the cross-functional design and coordinate with ETL and reporting teams * Work closely and foster strong relationships with ETL architecture team, database administration and data consumers (e.g., reporting and interfaces teams) to design warehouse/BI data structures * Manage the build phase and quality-assure the code to ensure that it meets requirements and adheres to standards; resolve difficult design and build issues; troubleshoot bugs Raj Singh |SR.
