This person will be interacting with the Business and IT side, so excellent communication skills are a must MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: · Hands-on experience helping clients set up full life cycle testing environments and determine timing for different levels of testing · Must have Test Lead specific experience with ALL phases of testing including: Systems Integration Testing/ Performance Testing/ Automation/ User Acceptance Testing · Must have Test Lead experience on projects involving implementation of large CRM or ERP implementation projects Must have 7+ years experience with the following: - Participating in Requirement Analysis and providing feedback - Reviewing and providing input on Software Functional/Non-Functional Requirements and User Acceptance Criteria - Helping determine Impact Assessments based on changes - Risk and Issue Identification and Management - Designing and Creating Test Cases - Prioritizing/Assigning test cases to testers and maintaining accountability for their execution. - Making sure bugs are tracked and resolved - Can demonstrate a strong understanding of Software Development and Testing methodologies/ Best Practices for Quality Assurance and Software Testing. - Can demonstrate work experience in performing backend database validation including designing SQL test scripts. - Very strong verbal and written communication skills. - Strong organization and administration and skills. - DESIRED SKILLS/ EXPERIENCE: • Experience with automated testing tools including Rational &/or TFS • Any experience in the deregulated electricity industry is a big plus JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: • Serve as the lead testing expert/advisor during the implementation of an enterprise customer support system • Review all testing related plans developed by the systems implementation vendor and advise customer on testing decisions including but not limited to the following: - Software Functional/Non-Functional Requirements - Testing schedules - Impact assessments when changes are required - Work suspension/resumption decisions • Design, create, prioritize, assign test cases and maintain accountability for their execution • Ensure successful bug tracking/fixing by the testers.
