- Assist the client in configuring, administering, and maintaining
multiple virtual server environments across their customer care portal
footprint using VMWare vSphere and ESX tools. This resource will be a hands
on doer, operating on direction from the client. Looking for resources with
the previous experience and the technical knowledge to execute daily
environment configuration of a 1200+ host environment.
- *Mandatory*
- Linux System Administration with CentOS/RHEL: 3+ Years’ experience
- VMWare ESX v4/5: 3+ years
- SAN Storage Administration: 3+years
- Experience working in a Kanban Agile development environment
- Troubleshooting IT systems when there is an issue reported by users
- Carrying out data backups and administration
- Installing and maintaining software updates periodically
- *Nice to Have*
- Puppet Configuration and Automation Experience: 1 year
- Familiar with Cloud/Openstack Administration
