Work will involve all aspects of the software life cycle including gathering requirements, analysis of existing systems/functionality, design and implementation, all the way through to production roll out and subsequent support. The ideal candidate is a hands-on developer who can quickly get accustomed to our frameworks, who are practical technologists. He/She should be interested in learning more about the business, and proactive in learning about the overall application outside their direct responsibilities. He/She will also work closely with the several global teams within the FID Credit technology department and, when necessary, interact directly with the Corporate Credit business unit and with the Firm?s middleware IT groups when using their frameworks/software. *Qualifications* *Skills Required *? Strong C# focusing on User Interface development in WinForms and WPF ? Experience with grid based UIs ? Data structures, design patterns and collections ? Multi-threaded programming *Skills Desired:* ? Familiarity with containers and dependency injection ? Familiarity with message based UI design ? Familiarity with Core Java (for opportunities to also work on our server side) ?
