Role: QA Analyst – UAT
Location: Boston, MA
Duration: 6-8 Weeks extends up to 6+ months
Notes:

· No OPT
· 4-5 years’ experience (middle level, good consultants)
E Commerce experience is mandatory
Our client is looking for 4- 6 year candidate, not a senior level person,
but someone who has the initiative of someone with recent leadership
experience. Someone who can pick things up quickly with the initiative to
take ownership.
ATG Knowledge is huge plus.
Job Responsibilities:
• Participates in design reviews, requirements sessions, and core team
meetings
• Reviews business requirements, functional specifications, user Stories
and use cases to understand the end user requirements in order to validate
both online functionality and supporting business processes operate as
specified.
• Works with product and business analyst to understand requirements are
captured correctly in UAT test and identify ambiguities.
• Creates and maintains user acceptance test/business scenarios for one or
more projects simultaneously.
• Collaborates on creation and maintenance of UAT detailed test plan, test
cases, scripts, scenarios for each project.
• Creates Requirements Traceability Matrix to ensure UAT test scripts are
aligned with requirements.
• Works with UAT Manager to define, capture, and report testing and quality
metrics
• Works with business analysts to integrate business use case scenarios for
user training.
• Works with business leaders to support training needs for software
deployment.
• Execute Test Scripts and documents defects where the actual results do
not successfully meet expected results
• Collaborate in daily defect meeting with development and business
partners to discuss unresolved defects and defect remediation
• Collaborate with QA team to summarize and document whether the test
results met the established UAT exit criteria for deployment consideration.
• Participate in Post Production Validation (PPV) planning, design and
execution leading up to and including actual deployment date and beyond.
Includes drafting PPV plan based on requirements that can be validated by
business in production, meeting with business partners to task
documentation and schedule, PPV task status reporting and issue triage and
Production Issue documentation. May require off-hour and weekend hours
depending on deployment schedule
• Participate in projects as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree
• Minimum 4+ years of UAT experience, *preferably in Ecommerce or Retail*
• Experience interfacing with business users and technical project team
members
• Experience creating and facilitating UAT test planning, estimating effort
and test execution
• Experience in web-based testing
• Experience translating business requirements into test cases and
effective written and verbal communication skills
• Experience creating and uploading test plans and test cases
• Experience defining, capturing, and reporting testing quality metrics and
testing defects
