This position works under minimal supervision, with extensive latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. *WORKER SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS* *Minimum Requirements:* Years Skills/Experience 5 Configuring/deploying/monitoring firewalls, data encryption and other security measures 5 Recommending security enhancements and purchases 5 Performing the design and deployment of security infrastructure and program activities 5 Developing and/or coordinating the development of policies for encryption of data transmissions and the erection of firewalls to conceal information as it is being transmitted and to eliminate tainted digital transfers 5 Developing reports and other documentation regarding the efficiency of security policies and recommending any changes *Preferences:* Years Skills/Experience 3 Modifying and monitoring computer files to incorporate new software and virus protection systems, correcting errors, or changing individual access statuses 3 Experience with secure file transfer server applications 3 Knowledge of computer hardware and software, computer operating systems, writing program code and automated mapping; including secure file transfers tools such as Globalscape, ConnetDirect, Filezilla, WinSCP, CoreFTP, Cyberfusion, GenTran, TumbleWeed and Enhanced File Transfer.
