*Job Title* SAS Lead *Project Location * Eden Prairie ,MN *Duration* 6 Months /Contract *Client - UHG* *MOI: Telephonic + Skype* *Responsibilities:* The lead needs to be able to interpret data. They can have experience with SAS or R. The manager has seen candidates who say they can interpret data and understand the analytics but no one has been able to explain their work. They seem to be more SAS administrators which is not required. The lead position will be customer focused and work with executives to explain to them what the team has found in the data. They need to truly understand SAS and the results SAS will present and be able to explain it. An example of a task that might be preformed is looking at data to predict what will happen in the future. Ie. If they look at the call centre data and see that it spiked at a certain point, how did that flow down to different areas and what happened when this occurred. From there they can explain and predict or fix what will happen the next time the call centre has a spike. In other words, how are all the dots connected. This role is in the healthcare exchange team, they have 10,000 users. Healthcare experience is not required. Must truly be able to understand Statistical Analytical Software and be able to interpret it and explain it in the interview, to customers and executives. The lead will work 100% independently with no direction. They will have someone more junior helping them on a daily basis.
