SA’s prepare detailed system requirements, specifications and documents and provide consultative services through all phases of the System Development Life Cycle. Job duties include but are not limited to the following: · Works with other IT staff to ensure the design accomplishes both business and technical requirements · Determines business/technical system/application requirements, identifies impacted areas, systems and processes, and evaluates alternative solutions. Prepare and document project-planning information · Facilitates or participates in a systematic process for eliciting detailed business functionality and technical requirements (e.g., via JAR/JAD session). Works with Business/Technical Partners to document requirements through Use Cases or Specification Documentations, or System Visions that can serve as the foundation for developing technical documentation · Plan, schedule, and track project timelines and milestones · Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation and presentations · Proactively manage changes in the project, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans · Verifies acceptance testing at the system level. Works with appropriate parties to complete accurate and thorough test plans on new/upgraded products.
