The incumbent will report to a QA Manager and take on responsibilities for testing to include: test plan and script creation, test execution, defect reporting, results reporting. The incumbent provides strategic guidance and oversight within one or more testing disciplines (functional, capacity and performance, automation, etc.) for a feature, project, product, application or system. Experience with Datawarehouse Technologies/Techniques such as Star/Snowflake Schemas, ETL, SSIS is a must. Required Experience 1. 5+ years QA Testing experience 2. 3+ years experience testing in an Agile/Scrum testing environment 3. Experience with testing Data Warehouse / Business Intelligence/ Data Migration 4. Hands-on experience with SQL and Manual Testing across multiple Scrum teams 5. Experience with any BI Tool is sufficient, but Business Objects or MicroStrategy is a huge plus 6. Experience developing and executing validation scripts, creating sample reports using Business Objects, reconciling report data and measuring query performance 7. Experience with Datawarehouse Technologies/Techniques such as Star/Snowflake Schemas, ETL, SSIS 8. Experience documenting, tracking and verifying defects and fixes in assigned applications 9. Experience developing, documenting and implementing QA standards for assigned applications *Qualifications:* 1. 5 - 10 years experience in 1 or more testing disciplines with commercial business-oriented software applications 2. Ability to work independently and with a team 3. Strong analytical skills and excellent attention to detail 4. Excellent communication skills 7. Tenacity; ability to work through problems and reach a solution 5. Ability to learn large complex systems 6. Ability to setup and maintain test data 7. Proven problem-solving and technical debugging skills 8. Proficient in the use of QA test tools to include HP Quality Center. 9. Experience with agile test tools. 10. Experience with white box testing. 11. Experience with testing against large sets of data. 12. Experience with database testing. 13. Experience and ability to work in a fast-paced agile environment. 14. Ability to work with resources in remote locations if needed. 15.
