Candidate must be able to quickly ramp up and become self-sufficient in assigned tasks and be able to integrate into team-oriented activities to insure that the customer experience is kept at optimum levels. Qualifications: 1. SAS Administration skills (3+ years, minimum) in the following areas – required: General: a. Must be i. self-directed ii. able to assess and propose/implement user requests across multiple environments iii. use FACLs on RHEL Linux b. SAS Metadata (9.2/9.3/9.4) i. Use of ACTs and Groups across user segments ii. Promotion of Objects/Users between environments c. SAS Resource Creation i. Oracle ii. SAS/Share and Shared Libraries iii. MS SQL iv. ODBC (highlight which products v. GreenPlum/Pivotal (plus) d. SAS Enterprise Guide ( SAS 9.2/9.3/9.4 based ) i. Strong familiarity with SAS EG ii. Conversion of SAS EG projects to standalone code (plus) e. SAS Web Report Studio and SAS BI Portal ( SAS 9.2/9.3/9.4 based ) i. Assist users in creating Portal/WRS content ii. Provision permissions for objects created f. Understand stored process creation process and maintenance (plus) g. SAS Enterprise Miner ( SAS 9.2/9.3/9.4 based ) (*plus) i. Web Based configurations ii. User Desktop support h. SAS Data Integration Studio ( SAS 9.2/9.3/9.x based ) (plus) i. SAS Studio (plus) i. Web App ii. Desktop j. Grid implementations (plus) k. SAS programming (plus) 2. Vertical Experience (preferred) a. Credit Scoring for Banking (4.x-5.x) (plus) b. SAS AML and ECM (plus) c. Greenplum/Pivotal (plus) 3. Moderate Unix scripting skills (plus) Unix scripting is currently being used or planning to be used in automating processes for standalone SAS program execution. Autosys is used as the automation engine. We use Unix scripts for SAS housekeeping activities such as system backups, cleanup of orphaned work files and logs. Planned usage will be extraction of data from Metadata into combined Portals for user access at a glance and populate the Employee dimension warehouse tables for historical user access grants and removals. a. Must be able to create CLEAR concise user documentation that permit Union Bank specific user self-help and can be utilized by first level support desk personnel b. Must be able to create CLEAR concise administration documentation that would permit continued Union Bank operations in the event of disaster. c.
