The person who is chosen must be on site 5 days a week in Cranston, Rhode Island. The ideal candidate will: • Apply advanced subject matter knowledge to complex business issues, and is regarded as a subject matter expert • Contribute to the development of new ideas and methods by working through complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in depth evaluation of multiple factors • Exercise significant independent judgment within broadly defined policies and practices to determine best method for accomplishing work and achieving objectives • Be a self-starter and possess strong communication (both written and verbal) and leadership skills • Be a team player and work collaboratively with all stakeholders on the project • Have a strong consulting and customer satisfaction skills and strive to achieve established goals, objectives, and quality standards of the project • Adhere to established timelines and must have a strong focus on ensuring all deadline dates are met • Have the ability to distinguish requirements versus solutions • Have working knowledge of Agile environments • Department of Motor Vehicle domain knowledge / expertise is a plus Responsibilities: • Ensure agile teams meet business need as defined by the Product Owner • Help explain business need to the Scrum teams • Using Agile methodology best practices, lead the creation of Epics, Themes and Stories. • Under minimal direction, formulate and define system scope and objectives based on both user needs and a good understanding of information technology, business processes, and industry requirements • Act as a liaison between the client and technical solutions / support groups, using advanced communication skills to elicit, document, analyze and validate client requirements • Apply extensive knowledge of the client’s business and industry to develop requirements specifications • Combine industry expertise with an advanced understanding of information technology to develop innovative business solutions • Leverage industry knowledge and client relationships to assess the business implications of the application of technology to the current and future business environment • Influence the strategic direction of clients and their industry • Document requirements, and translate into proper system requirements specifications using high-maturity methods, processes and tools • Develop visualization, user experience and configuration elements of solution design • Execute and coordinate requirements management and change management processes • Develop and maintain internal and external relationships to support management of scope and expectations • Operate as a team member and advise on methods to improve business processes • Execute requirements determination using structured techniques for documentation, analysis, evaluation/validation; decomposition of high-level information into details • Consults with team members and other organizations, clients and vendors on complex issues Skills Required: MUST HAVE ALL REQUIRED SKILLS TO BE CONSIDERED Required Skills: • *5 - 7 years’ experience as a Business Analyst * •* Experience with Agile Scrum * • Demonstrated experience in performing requirements gathering sessions for large-scale systems implementation • Demonstrated experience creating technical roadmaps to develop and implement a complex system rewrite • Exceptional verbal and written communication with clients and technical staff in English • Experience in multiple phases of SDLC is required. • Skills and personal characteristics that enable successful relationship building with a variety of management and client personnel • Capable of giving attention to detail while still understanding and dealing with the global aspects of the project • Experience with test scripts development, execution and automation is preferred. • Bachelor’s degree in area of specialty -- -- To unsubscribe from this group, send email to [email protected] For more options, visit this group at http://groups.google.com/group/CBE-Software-Engineer?hl=en --- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "CBE Software Engineer" group.
