*Project Location* Sacramento, CA *Duration* 6 months /Contract *Skills Required and Job Description:* The tasks and activities of the Oracle PeopleSoft e-business suite financials developer will include the following: A. Perform data analysis and mapping activities in support of conversion efforts: 1. Identify Oracle e-business suite data fields that will be extracted in to a staging area 2. Lead and execute with DGS SME’s and consultants data mapping of legacy data to new FI$Cal conversion formats B. Perform data extraction and cleansing activities in support of conversion efforts: 1. Create design documents for each data extract program written 2. Create, write, and test data extract programs for each of the data elements identified in the conversion effort 3. Support and modify the data extract programs through the DGS conversion effort 4. Create data validation routines to ensure conversion data meets quality thresholds 5. Provide knowledge transfer and documentation to DGS technical staff for each of the data extract programs and cleansing routines developed C. Guide and assist DGS staff by providing expert knowledge for interactions with the System Integrator on issues regarding legacy systems data cleansing, and other data migration activities. Mandatory Requirements: 1. Five (5) years FTE experience writing PL/SQL queries/scripts/stored procedures. 2. Three (3) years FTE experience developing Oracle E-Business Suite Financials applications. 3. Two (2) years FTE experience developing Oracle E-Business Suite Financials applications for the public sector. 4.
