Please include your employer details as well. *Job Title* Functional Test Engineer *Project Location* Cincinnati, OH *Duration* 6 months /Contract *Skills Required and Job Description:* *MOI::Telephonic followed by skype* * Functional Test Engineer * *Position Description:* The tester supports quality assurance programs and processes in alignment with QA strategy. The tester is responsible for providing feedback on artifacts developed during requirements and analysis phase within client projects; authoring test cases; and performing test execution for both project and support related activities. The tester will be primarily performing manual testing on both new feature enhancements and regression. *Essential Job Functions:* 1. Create QA Task List in order to meet objectives and deadlines 2. Participate in Requirement & Design Doc review session; evaluate requirements & design docs from a quality test automation standpoint 3. Execute Test scripts to validation correct functionality of application 4. Manage test coverage based on risk analysis 5. Document defects and evaluate priority of defect based on overall application functionality 6. Coordinate Test script Reviews with stakeholders are being held as appropriate. 7. Perform various types of testing including white box, integration, back-end DB validation, system, and end-to-end testing as needed 8. Adhere to requirement review, defect writing & test script writing guidelines 9. Keep QA Lead informed of current state of quality and test progress 10. Ensure completion of all deliverables within schedule, budget and quality constraints. 11. Participate in Root Cause Analysis sessions 12. Ensure that projects follow prescribed software development life cycle standards. 13. Develop and maintain good relationships with project team. 14. Identify obstacles and roadblocks; and offer suggestions to work around obstacle. 15.
