System Analyst Location: Hartford, CT Long term - Deliver functional requirements in support of any/all applications & solutions owned by the Enterprise Application and Integration team. Products/Solutions include DataStage, SQL, cobol, etc. - Fully support the implementation of the functional changes as a result of projects and production support activities through all phases of the lifecycle, including design, defect triage and resolution. Partner closely with the Design and QA teams to develop and maintain a collaborative and iterative working approach - Build effective partnerships with the broader business and systems communities through collaboration and information dissemination. - Demonstrate and document knowledge of the interdependencies between application functionality and associated business processes in order to develop effective system solutions. - Become a subject matter expert (SME) in the logical data and all interfaces that are key to the solutions; over time, develop increasing knowledge and comfort with the underlying data stores and physical interfaces (WSDLs, copybooks, etc) - Collaborate in the formulation of key Quality Assurance deliverables (plans, strategies, scenarios) - Fully represent the Enterprise Application and Integration team while working with business requirements teams, Programs, and other business partners for key Scope and Assess initiatives, Sales and Marketing support, or Strategy development.
