*Position : **Mainframe Admin* *Location : **ALPHARETTA, GA * *Duration : **12 months * *Interview : Skype//Telephonic * * JOB Discription :-* Title of Position : Mainframe z/OS and Storage Administrator Summary of key responsibilities Build Relationship with customer and SMEs at customer’s site Build Relationship with hardware vendors & support teams Identify risk during transition, provide mitigation and track till completion Track Service Delivery and ensure SLA compliance including with vendors Capacity planning and system performance tuning Review and update the SOP documents on regular basis to maintain AS-IS processes and procedures of the environment Draft policies and implement process in consultation with client as per business with ITIL framework Manage escalations and ensure System Availability as per SLA Validate mainframe reports with customer Support on all in-flight and upcoming project activities Technical requirements • Experience with z/Architecture Mainframe hardware z13, zEC12, zBC12, z114, z196 • Parallel Sysplex and GDPS setup and maintenance • XRC (zGM) / PPRC (zMM) setup, configuration and tuning • z/OS v1.13 and z/OS v2.1 installation, migration and configuration • z/VM v6 installation, configuration and administration • IODF/IOCDS/IOCP setup and configuration using HCD/HCM • zOS System Automation using IBM or ISV products ex: CA OPS/MVS • Expert knowledge in Assembler Programming, REXX Utilities and Exit Routines • PARMLIB and PROCLIB concatenation, customization and maintenance • JCL, JES2, JES3, DFSMS, SMP/E, zOSMF, • Mainframe Networking SNA and VTAM, Microsoft HIS Server, Enterprise Extender • Mainframe Security RACF, ACF2 • Expertise in IBM/ISV Utilities, Tools ex: OMEGAMON, CA ESP, CA OPS/MVS, CA7, CA11 • Experience with Disk Storage products IBM DS8000, EMC VMAX, HDS • Experience with Tape and DeDupe Storage products EMC DLM, IBM VTL, StorageTek • Experience in DASD storage management and tools – DFHSM, FDR, TDMF, CA1, RMM • Configure and tune EMC SRDF Replication,Timefinder Mirror, Consistency groups • Good knowledge in VSAM and ICF Catalog Management, and in Strobe • Experience in disaster recovery planning and conducting DR drills. • Mainframe Capacity Planning & Performance Tuning using SMF/RMF, SAS and MXG • Create WLM policies for optimal system performance • Experience in MIPS Optimization and Software rationalization • Perform Job management and print management • Capture and analyze dumps and traces, LOGREC records.
