Please review the requirement and if you find it matching your profile then send me your updated resume with best possible rate/HR ASAP. *Role: Tableau Developer* *Location: Costa Mesa, CA* *Duration: 6 Months* Description: Tableau and BO Developer with hands-on experience in dashboard and report development. · Pro-active in understanding the business use cases for performing Tableau POC and very good at executing POC with limited timeframe and projecting back to customer on limitations/positives of having Tableau based on POC. · Oversee Tableau development for BI as we deliver a new data warehouse to the business · Interact with business users to identify dashboard strategies, report layouts, and analysis presentations · Migrate existing legacy reports into Tableau while building new reports from our formal data warehouse initiative · Help to develop and manage the Tableau semantic layer through reusable data sources · Work with the business to develop a formal business glossary, defining metrics and KPI’s · Utilize blended data from multiple sources to discover new opportunities · Develop a front-end navigation scheme to support a formal dashboard portfolio strategy, including strategic, tactical, and operational dashboards · Develop a formal release cycle and publishing strategy in the Tableau environment · Support business with various data-related asks for business growth · Tableau certification is a plus · Ability to provide attractive presentation layers. · Experience using Tableau Desktop and Online. · Developing and maintaining Business Objects Universe(s). · Developing, maintaining, scheduling reports in one or more Business Objects tools such as WEBI, Crystal, Dashboards, Lumira, or Explorer. · Working with the business to understand requirements, as well as helping the business users access the data they need and provide expert guidance on challenging data questions from disparate data sources. · Experience with Enterprise Data Warehouse concepts such as facts, slowly-changing dimensions, snapshots, etc. · Strong documentation and communication skills. · Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time · Ability to operate as a team player and independently · Excellent SQL skills. · Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a corporate environment. · Strong knowledge of best practices around Dashboards and Report Visualization. · Strong knowledge of best practices around Self-Service BI.
