Hardware/Firmware upgrade. · Firewall/IPS/IDS Migration activities Install/Upgrade new OS Installing and Configuring new hardwares. Configuring hardware and software clustering. · Hardware replacement Implementing DR and BCP plan. · Creating standard policies for Security Devices Evaluate/POC new Security Technologies Hardening Security device configurations Troubleshooting Backup and restore issues. Patches and packages installation. · Troubleshooting VPN issues Troubleshooting Connectivity issues(Firewall, IPS/IDS) Patch and Security Management: Apply patch and security changes per policy. · Proactively monitor the environment for patch compliance Configuring log rotation for log files. · Backup configuration Troubleshooting performance issues Creating SOP documents Traffic analysis through Firewall, IPS/IDS IT Security specialist having in depth knowledge and Experience in supporting Firewall and Network Security infrastructure. · Ability to perform diagnostics on highly complicated firewall and Network Security infrastructure related problems. · Strong understanding of the critical business services delivered from IT Operations. · Experience of design build and implementation of IT Security Architecture. · Experience providing detailed plans and managing the resolution of highly complex issues and problems · Analysis and identification of systems that require Operating System upgrades and/or hardware replacement based on current standards Perform OS upgrades, hardware replacement and/or failover testing as required. · Should have strong troubleshooting, analytical and communication skills. · Able to manage big international clients. · Good understanding of information security and its impact on application development, operations as well as the IT Infrastructure and business process.
