please send resume meenak...@rgtalent.com *Job Title* Sr Business Analyst *Project Location* Nyc NY *Duration* 6 months /Contract * Skills Required and Job Description:* *Mode of Interview: Telephonic Followed by Face2Face* The candidate will be working closely with technology leadership and the business users in the Corporate Treasury Front Office on a new strategic project that will help the business to monitor and optimize the mix of assets and liabilities on the firm’s balance sheet. The project is just beginning and we are building on top of an existing foundational data warehouse that has significant untapped potential and value to be unleashed. We will build additional capabilities to analyze hypothetical transactions and implement a system to perform advanced forecast analytics around the current and hypothetical positions. Initially, the primary responsibilities will be to elicit, negotiate, and document the initial business requirements while also working with other team members on report and dashboard prototypes. Later on it is envisioned that the candidate in this position would document user stories, perform analysis to build engines that will perform various types of calculations of varying complexities, and help to build or configure our forecasting engine. The candidate will have the following skills and experience: - Extensive experience eliciting and documenting requirements and skillfully negotiating with users to refine requirements for a more optimal outcome. - Experience working with business intelligence tools and building interactive dashboards. - An understanding of modern application architectures to be able to bridge between business requirements and functional solutions. - Strong knowledge and experience with fixed income securities and working with front, middle, and back offices for the trade lifecycle. - At least general knowledge of other types of assets and liabilities found on the balance sheet for a large financial institution. - Excellent communication, both written and verbal, to be able to confidently, succinctly, and constructively convey an argument or concept to individuals of varying backgrounds and roles on the project.
