Only locals to CA Position: Peoplesoft HR Analyst Location: San Jose, CA Duration: 6 months contract Responsibilities of the Sr. Analyst Programmer include, but are not limited to: Bring in expert level skills to implement, maintain, support and document complex application programs and procedures for SJSUs PeopleSoft Student Administration, Human Resources, and Financial systems. The incumbent will lead the technical review and definition of business problems, including the preparation of technical requirements to support the mission of the university and administrative departments; provide systems analysis leadership for appropriate user offices; provide systems and technical support of vendor and locally developed software. The incumbent will collaborate with the programming team on creating and documenting development, testing and deployment procedures for supporting SJSUs administrative applications. Duties and system assignments can be temporarily or permanently changed to meet the needs and goals of the department and university. The incumbent will perform duties under general direction and work independently to achieve specified outcomes. The incumbent will lead and own the interaction with campus technical support staff and customers to provide reliable services. The incumbent will be proactive in their approach in order to make recommendations and ensure users/departments have the most up-to-date technological solutions to perform their jobs and serve the university community effectively.
