Resource to augment the Safeco Integration Aqua project to deliver on
features for R2 and R3.
We need a sr. backend java developer who knows Agile methodologies inside
and out - needs to be a self starter. They will be working with 4 other
developer's on the team and will be interaction with Functional BA's and
Test Owners on a Daily basis so they need excellent communication both
written and verbal.

• Bachelor’s Degree in technical or business discipline or equivalent
experience.
• 7 + Years of Software Development Experience
o 5+ years of Client Side Development Experience
• Desired development skills
o Experience with one or more Javascript frameworks for SPAs
§ Angular preferred/JQuery considered
o Direct experience IBM Rational Application Developer or Eclipse 3+
o Direct experience with WebSphere Application Server, WebSphere Process
Server
o Direct experience with HTML 5/CSS 3/XML
o Direct experience with Java API for RESTful Web Services (JAX-RS)
o Direct experience with Unit Testing Frameworks (i.e. JUnit, Mockito)
o Demonstrated ability to work across the full stack, from UI to backend
services
o Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery concepts
o Experience with NPM and Bower package management
• Ability and desire to learn new and emerging technologies.
• Ability to design and deliver complex system and application
architectures
• Ability to evaluate technical design options and provide recommendations
