It would be very nice if we can discuss over the phone, you can send me and email or can call my number *484-436-4302.* *Job Title : **SAP Analyst* *Location : **Spring, TX* *Job Description:* *SAP Analyst - BUSINESS PROCESS Sales, Purchases and Tax Accounting.* · Resources will be needed to fulfill either base support or project roles. · In the support role analysts will be part of a global team providing application support for the Taxable transactions/processes used by ExxonMobil business users in the Everest SAP system (3.1H) IPES SAP system (4.0B) or STRIPES (R/3 4.0B or ECC 6.0). · Individuals in the work group perform base support by responding to problem tickets and service requests made by users. · In the project role analysts will be part of a global project team responsible for implementing the basic global Financial design as developed in STRIPES (ECC 6.0) or IPES (4.0B) while configuring or customizing the system to meet any predefined functionality gaps or region-specific business processes. Skill requirements for both roles are similar. · BASIC JOB FUNCTIONS Part of a global team. · Responsibilities include analyzing and resolving issues related to support or project development following procedures and controls defined by ExxonMobil. · Responsible for learning and maintaining those configuration and customization settings which are the basis for the global Financial Design. · Capable of using SAP Support Portal as a source of correction for reported problems. · Provides consultation to other COE process teams such as Supply Chain module, MM module and SD module. · Provides consultation to program development resources regarding program development and corrections. · Basic ABAP programming language knowledge desirable. · Performs integral testing of problem corrections, changes and enhancements, from Unit Individual tests through User Acceptance. · Maintains batch job variants. · Implement Legal Requirements via standard Tax configuration or changes via change management process. · Responsible for following ExxonMobil methodology including documentation and stewardship. · Capable to develop Functional Specification based on user requirements for Minor Developments. · Develop system or work procedure documentation. · Perform Knowledge Transfer to technical team mates or end-user. *SKILL REQUIREMENTS * · University degree. · Experience with multiple SAP releases including 3.1H, 4.0B, 4.6C and ECC 6.0 is desired. · Knowledge of SAP FI, MM and SD modules functionality including: o Tax Codes creation o IMG Tax configurations - VAT, Excise Duty and other taxes o Pricing procedures analysis - tax condition types o Withholding tax codes creation o Country Localization analysis o Tax account clearing o Account Determination (T030) o Reconciliation of Tax accounts o Program Variant maintenance o Change Transport System to move changes to production o Process BDC sessions o Create / Change Batch Jobs o Company Code Tax related tables o Batch Jobs interface processing o OSS notes analysis / implementation · Course work and/or experience with basic accounting principles. · Speak, read and write English fluently. · Excellent communication skills. · Excellent problem solving skills. · Strong interpersonal and team working skills. · Ability to work in a multicultural environment. · Ability to work on report technical specifications as well as on Interfaces with satellite systems (e.g., Tax ware, ASPENSATI). · Ability to work remotely from other team members, internal service providers and customers. · Ability to work with less experienced analysts in order to develop SAP problem solving, support and technical skills. · Strong analytical capability in order to comprehend and support complex processes based on standard SAP configuration. · Ability to learn and support a number of specialized business scenarios created for Oil Industry processes and specifically for ExxonMobil, like Inter-company transactions processing. · Ability to learn and apply ExxonMobil control standards to these processes *BUSINESS ENVIRONMENT * · SAP R/3, version 3.1H, 4.0B, 4.6C, ECC 6.0. · LOTUS Notes, WINDOWS NT, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint are a must. · Remedy, Visio, Solution Manager, NetMeeting; Instant Message; Sometime; Global Share are desired. · Provide support to Financial Process. Local Country Tax Department is the primary client but others include Upstream and Downstream business users. · AVG % TRAVEL EXPECTED · May vary depending on location, but candidate should be prepared as needed. · Upstream assignment may require 50% travel.
