Job Location: Wayne, PA (Chesterbrook Blvd) Type of Assignment: Contract Interview Process: Phone + F2F What You Will Be Doing An Operations resource who will be dedicated to a new strategic Comcast platform. The resource will: · Manage all deployments, setup infrastructure, support testing and troubleshooting for various components · Automate applicable processes and deployments · Create and maintain documentation, · Work with other Comcast entities, reach out to stakeholders and attend conference bridge sessions · Display initiative in improving the ecosystem. · Work closely with developers, testers and other administrators as part of a larger team · After hours support for the ecosystem · Demonstrates senior-level responsibility and follow up. · Is conversant with administering and maintaining *Linux (CentOS) servers.* · Has familiarity working in a Cloud environment and *Atlassian* tools. · Is capable of troubleshooting server or VM issues and monitoring applications. · Can deploy applications and has extensive experience with scripting tools and technologies. · Can write automation scripts for a variety of administrative functions · *Administer Kafka, Storm, upgrade OS,* · Familiarity with Hadoop and can work in a large scale big data environment.
