*Sr. Application Packager * *Grapevine TX* *3+months * *Phone Hire* *Looking Senior consultant .. minimum 10 years of experience is required.* *Must have very strong imaging skills*. *Key focus:* · Advanced MDT Skills · Point of Service (POS) skills and experience · Standard troubleshooting skills (for imaging and image deployment) · PowerShell or Command-Line skills (like DiskPart, GPO, Scripting, etc) and the resources are not grasping the concepts of the process as it is laid out today. · Imaging skills like: basic MDT, SysPrep, Forensic image capture (pre-SysPrep) and application deployment scripting. Experience in packaging. We are looking for someone with experience scripting and imaging for a Windows 10 deployment, using MDT for package delivery for external devices. Some degree of PowerShell would be great as well. Want someone that has heavy scripting experience that can hit the ground running. Expert in batch file creation, Windows image creation, software packaging, etc. specific to Point of Sale (POS) devices. This is to keep up on day-to-day operations. This is to keep up on day-to-day operations*. · What does software packaging mean for POS devices? – packaging apps for rollout to new POS systems · Why are they looking for someone? – they don’t have the time for their own bench to get this done · How many devices are they talking about? – 3500 devices · Is this a new project or one that is currently underway? – currently underway · How are they going to select a candidate? – interview process, but really need experience with this and need to have excellent communication skills · To confirm, the resource should be able to start immediately · Are they working alone or part of a team? – There will be a team, there are 3 staff aug positions and they will work with the customer’s team to get this work done. I have a list of software that I’m still sorting out. We have 275+ unique applications that teams are using and I haven’t already completed. The plan is to find installation files from the Internet, or our own software shares, learn how to install each one with command line, and deploy them via SCCM 2012 to users.
