Reflecting its commitment to serve markets that have limited or restricted access to the financial system and are economically disadvantaged, CNB has been a certified Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) since 1996 and is the only regulated CDFI headquartered in New Jersey. *Opportunity:* CNB is seeking an Information Security Officer, who under general direction of the Risk Officer, but in accordance with established policies and procedures, has overall responsibility for the development, implementation and maintenance of information security. Manages quality control and reporting and ensures compliance with policies and laws and will collaborates with risk partners on information security critical priorities. *Responsibilities* · Assists the Senior Risk Officer (SRO) and Executive Management in developing an information security strategy · Responsible with the SRO, for bank compliance with all policies related to privacy and information security · Acts as Liaison between the IT Department and auditors/examiners for all audits and exams · Assists the SRO with reviews of SSAE 16's (SOC 1, 2, and 3) · Assists the SRO in providing Board reporting about information security · Handles all information security incidents such as data breaches, identity theft, etc · Accountable for staying abreast of evolving information security requirements and assisting the SRO in updating policy · Assists the SRO in maintaining membership and collaboration with organizations such as FS-ISAC · Provide advice to management with regard to moderately complex security issues. · Assists in the review, development, testing and implementation of security plans, products and control techniques. · Coordinates the reporting data security incidents. · Provides technical support to management and staff in risk assessments and implementation of appropriate data security procedures and products. · Monitors existing and proposed security standard setting groups. State and Federal legislation and regulations. · Identifies and escalates changes that will affect information security policy, standards and procedures. · Executes security controls to prevent hackers from infiltrating company information or jeopardizing e-commerce programs. · Researches attempted efforts to compromise security protocols. Administers security policies to control access to systems and maintains the company firewall. *Knowledge, Skills and Abilities* - Sound working knowledge of the overall operations of the Bank - Ability to establish credibility and rapport; knowledgeable and personable looking for ways to improve the operations of the Bank - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to demonstrate and coach exceptional customer service - Ability to communicate and function professionally with all levels of personnel and business partners across the organization - Understand how to present features and benefits of product and services to customers with differing needs - Must stay current on operational, product, and system changes/enhancements, as well as demonstrate good risk management decisions - Able to take “full ownership” of issues until they are completely resolved - Unpredictable hours, ability to work long hours including weekends and some evenings *Training and Experience* - *MBA in Business Management desired* - *CISSP certification preferred, and thorough knowledge of bank information security practices required* - *8+ Years of experience in technology * - * 5+years in information security* - *5+ years of risk management experience with proven ability to effectively apply risk principles to challenging business situations* - Must display strong subject matter experience in application security, vulnerability testing and development of a risk appetite - Exceptional presentation and communication skills - Excellent influencing and problem resolution skills - Financial Institution knowledge is strongly desired *Compliance Training*: - Must complete ongoing compliance training on the Bank Secrecy Act, USA Patriot Act, OFAC, Suspicious Activity Reporting, Privacy, Know Your Customer, CIP, Identify Theft, New Products & Initiatives, Record Retention, Customer Privacy – Reg P, Right to Financial Privacy, Safeguarding Customer Information (GLBA), Suspicious Activity Reporting *Working Conditions:* 1. Exposed to moderately loud noise made by equipment 3. Minimum discomfort from noise, temperature, dust, and other causes 4. May sit for long periods of time 5.
