Hi, Job Title: VMWare Engineer Location: Bowie MD Duration: 12+ Months/Contract *Interview: Phone and Skype* *Need Certification* *Required Technical Skills:* · Strong VMware vCenter Server expertise. · Experience with VMware vSphere Suite 5.5, VMware vCloud Director 5.5, and VMware SRM 5.5. and ESXi is a plus. · Windows System Administration. · Linux and Windows System Administration experience . · VMware vCenter Server. · Experience with EMC storage platforms. Training and Certifications (Desired): Certification in any of the following is a plus: · VCP5 certification · Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) · Linux Certified System Administrator · Preferably certified in ITIL Foundations Minimum Qualifications and Requirements: · Bachelors degree in Computer Science/Engineering/ Information Systems or related discipline (In-Lieu-of the education 5 years of total full time IT experience required) · 6+ years of demonstrated experience in creating conceptual, logical and physical design for virtualized solutions for infrastructure and platforms · 6+ years of installing, configuring, and maintain VMware systems · 6+ years of installing, configuring, and maintain Windows and /or Linux systems · Must have experience working with stakeholders to capture and document requirements, constraints, risks and assumptions · Gather technical requirements, assess client capabilities and analyze findings to provide appropriate cloud solution recommendations and adoption strategy · Must have a working knowledge, preferably certified in ITIL Foundations, Configuration Management, and Release Engineering. · Support large-scale virtualized computer systems in a Data Center Environment is a plus · Must possess strong interpersonal and communications skills. · Must be able to relate to a diverse group of people including technical and development personnel, management, business customers, and vendors in a constructive and effective manner. · Must have a solid technical background coupled with desire and ability to grasp skills quickly, combined with deep attention to detail along with excellent verbal and written communication skills · Project and work flow management skills *Umang Jain | Sr. Technical Recruiter| Apetan Consulting LLC* *Phone: 201-620-9700* ** 1**45** | * *Mailing Address:* 72 Van Reipen Avenue pmb#255, Jersey City, NJ 07306 *Corp.
