Job Title: Network Engineer III
Location: Florence , NJ
Duration: 6+ Months/Contract

*Job Description:*
1. Architecture, Design, and Implementation of network infrastructure
1. In depth Network expertise expected from Cisco Certified Network
Professional (CCNP) and Cisco Certified Network Engineer (CCIE)
2. Solid understanding of how to install and configure core
datacenter network equipment including routers and switches,
QOS, UCS, and
virtual systems such as vblock.
3. Plan and maintain the highly technical, logical network
configuration of routers, switches, VOIP, wireless, firewalls and other
technology associated with network traffic.
4. Providing technical direction to IT department with regards to
network related items.
5. Support broader WAN, VOIP, MPLS, Broadband, EVDO.
2. Administration
1. Support configuration of SAMBA, Client, IPSEC tunnels, network
security and 3rd party packages
2. Expert knowledge of networking concepts, configure routing,
switching, Domains and DNS technologies
3. Automation via scripts in administrative languages (Perl, Shell or
VBscript)
3. Maintenance (LAN/WAN support)
1. Experienced with routines for troubleshooting, debugging and
restoring communications within the network
2. Experienced with the terms of the vendor service, troubleshooting
and referral to the NOC as required
3. Ability to communicate with technical and non technical 3rd party
vendors to resolve issues.
4. Use Ciscoworks and other tools to provide vendor with insight to
the issues causing problems
4. Support for Operations
1. Train and direct novice network administrators or operators
2. Troubleshoot problems and issues independently
3. Able to administer complex site independently via on call rotation
4. Any other duties as assigned for support of network operations
Skills and Abilities:
· Experience: 7+ years of network experience, including voice,
routing, and switching, core, UCS.
· Knowledge of and experience in designing large intricate fault
tolerant networks.
· Position requires that the individual understand the impact of
network Routing, Switches, Voice,QOS and Access Points.
· Lead complicated and involved project meeting deadlines and quality
of service initiatives.
· Take independent action to troubleshoot issues and network problems
to successful resolution.
· Ability to communicate and work with technical and non-technical
staff.
Education: degree or certification in computer science or related field
Licenses/Certification/Registration: Cisco certification minimum CCNP
required (CCIE preferred)
